Given a choice, would you rather have drinks with Groucho Marx or with Jack Valenti? It's not a fair fight. Why is it that you have to have your sense of humor surgically removed if you take up the banner of maximizing shareholder value?

Where did we go so horribly wrong? When you combine lawyers with shareholder value, there's no room left for any common sense.
