[...] (full source)This video has been described on the blogosphere as “the best sales video ever.” It is old school, mildly tongue-in-cheek, but I see the point. It is a relevant idea for these times. So much of any down-turn involves a psychological component (”consumer confidence” etc), this one may be more so. The scale of this recession seems to defy easy historical comparisons, creating yet more FUD. Furthermore, it appears that so much of the original (and ongoing) financial crisis is fueled by a lack of trust among the actors. Thus, in Jim McGee’s words (link above): “(w)e could all benefit from this level of energy…” We could, even if the direct effect were only psychological. [...]
